To apply for the Ordinary Membership, an applicant must have passed and obtained at least a Diploma in Biomedical Sciences/medical laboratory sciences or equivalent from a polytechnic or a Degree related to Biomedical Sciences from a tertiary institution based in Singapore.

Associate membership is open to all individuals involved in the industry who do not qualify for Ordinary membership, providing that they are currently employed in the industry in Singapore.

Student membership is open to all students currently enrolled in an educational institution Biomedical Sciences/medical laboratory science program or equivalent programs related to Biomedical Sciences based in Singapore.
