What's this event?
The College of American Pathologists (CAP's) Laboratory Accreditation Program accredits the entire spectrum of laboratory test disciplines. The CAP's peer-based inspector model provides a unique balance of regulatory and educational coaching supported by the most respected worldwide pathology organization.
For this workshop, an overview of CAP Accreditation program will be covered. Topics include top common deficiencies encountered commonly during audit process, CAP checklist for assessment (microbiology), calibration verification and linearity checks as well as an overview of next-generation sequencing accreditation.
ABMLPS recognizes the need for continuous professional development for our members and laboratory professionals in this fast-changing biomedical science industry. This workshop, organized by ABMLPS and CAP, aims to update industry practitioners on current developments and requirements of CAP Accreditation in achieving the highest standard of laboratory quality.
