Clinical Diagnostics Technologists

Prepare and perform PCR tests on patient specimens and report results of the COVID tests according to established protocols, to help clinicians diagnose, treat and monitor therapy for COVID-19 patients.

Perform receiving and sorting of specimens, assessing suitability of specimens for testing, data entry of test requests, rejection of specimens that are unsuitable for testing, decontaminating equipment and surfaces.



  • Hands-on experience with molecular lab technologies - PCR, DNA/RNA extraction, liquid handling etc.
  • Prior experience in a BSL-2 or BSL-3 laboratory 
  • Training and full PPE will be provided
  • Requirement to work in full PPE (respirator, goggles, gown, gloves) within a negative pressure environment, and adherence to Biosafety Level 2+ (BSL2+) practices


      • Full-time. Required to do shift work (i.e. day/evening/nights) including weekends and public holidays.
      • Deployment for period estimated between 2 to 3 months

IT Technical Support 

4 Vacancies for SDL @Nanos

To assist with paperwork, phone calls, data entry, inventory and other tasks to support COVID-19 testing lab.

Enforce quality control measures

Work closely with Lab Director’s office to ensure smooth running of SDL@Nanos facility

Address second-order operational details related to lab processes, including procurement, equipment maintenance, manpower, sample processing, generation of reports etc
